Rome December 8: “Immaculate Madonna”


#Rome December 8, is the religious holiday of the “Immaculate Conception” dogma of faith proclaimed by Pope Pius IX in 1854. On the occasion of recital recital was placed in Piazza Mignanelli, next to Piazza di Spagna in 1857, a column bearing in the top an image of the Virgin. The column comes from Roman excavations, while the statue was carved by G.Obici.
