#Roma 15 March 44 a.c. Ides of March: Julius Caesar is assassinated by the conspirators led by Brutus and Cassius senators.

The Divine Julius Caesar was assassinated on the Ides of March, in a conspiracy hatched by some 60 senators including the famous Brutus and Cassius .Cesare was killed for that according to the conspirators aspired to become king and delete the republic.
His murder no servants in order, indeed Augustus became in fact the first prince of the empire and emperor, ending the Roman Republic.

The place where he was killed Cesare is located in the center of Rome, in what is today’s “Largo di Torre Argentina” and that at the time housed a seat of the Roman Senate: the Theatre of Pompeo.
